For more than a year now I drop many loops, sketches, songs and beats on a weekly basis on the collaborative platform Allihoopa. This is in my view one of the most successful platforms for collaborative music creation. And I think that has all to do with two mayor dealbreakers. First and foremost the way they set up the ecosystem of Allihoopa, for making it very easy to pick up pieces made in their own world-class app Figure. Second is the creative commons-like TOS that states that all the work that is dropped on the platform is for everyone to use, alter, remix, play with without any limits. And nobody has the right to monetize on any work posted there. Which keep any difficult copyright claim far away from the music playground. And mere enthusiasm and support stay on the board.Allihoopa is one of the most successful collaborative platforms for music creation for any type of music maker Click To Tweet
I really recommend everyone to try it out. Just download Allihoopa App, Take and Figure to your cell phone, and start messing around. You will find a very open-minded, positive and supportive community with all kinds of subgroups working closely an loosely together to figure at how little it takes to get to great Allihoopa hights!
Below you find a collection of remixes I made from other one’s original drops, plus some original work made by me. All put under the flag of the loosely connected Dark Collective. Enjoy!
